Default Bypass key chip ?

2003 Buick LeSabre

Lost my spare key went to Lowe'* and had one made. Unlocks the door fine turns the ignition fine but nothing starts.
I guess they came through with a chip that is in the key itself.

$60 at the dealer....

Anyone know of way to bypass that. Cut a wire, jump a wire, remove a fuse?

It'* not that easy. Get a key that has the chip and you can program it to work.

I agree. Bite the bullet and get a replacement chip key. It will cost less money and time in the long run, unless you lose them at an extremely high rate.

I have lost one key for my 2017 Verano. I have seen a key/fob on amazon which says that it is user programmable. I was thinking of ordering this and then having the blade cut (hopefully it can be cut(copied) from my one key that I still have). Has anyone done this and had success. If so, is there an inexpensive place that cuts car keys? (preferably located in washington state.

Yeah, the good locksmith shops that aren't in cahoots to keep prices up will do this. You're probably going to want to look in your local area and compare reviews. Without knowing more detail about your location, we could find a good locksmith on the opposite corner of the state from you.
