1989 Park Ave Ultra - Just Purchased
Hey everyone, our roads in Minnesota have gotten so bumpy that I, an avid
Bonneville driver, have bought an 89 Ultra-car is complete, most everything works,220K,needs struts.etc. but boy will this car ride smooth when I am done fixing it up. but I am looking for some body parts or part #'*- I just purchased all the GM manuals for this car but I am looking for a part # manual like I have for my 90 Bonneville or if someone is parting out a PA or le sabre-looking for Lt front side chrome trim piece by front bumper- plastic piece between grille and bumper-previous owner cut holes and installed fog lights (I hate when people do that!) I am new to the Buick forum, but have owned many H bodys - any help is appreciated and would be glad to help others. Thank You.

Welcome, I'm new here as well.
I have a '93 PA that I'm using as a parts car for the moment, but unfortunately the front end has some damage, so I can't really help you out with the part you're currently looking for. However, since we live relatively close to one another, perhaps we could strike up a deal if you need parts down the road.

Also remember that the Park Avenue underwent a complete redesign for the '91 model year, and the interchangeable parts are few and far between.

Welcome Warren. You will like the Pk Ave. Post up a photo of your new car!
I bought mine in Feb and after inspection, have gone though this car with a fine tooth comb. I bought my 97 with only 87k miles and have done lots of work to bring it up to speed. New brakes, water pump, LIM intake, new tires, Iridium spark plugs & Wires, Transgo shift kit into modulator due to shift code P1811. Now it shifts way smoother with no further harsh up shifts using DexVI fluid and code gone.
It is great to have it run in top shape. I would get your car scanned and see what trouble codes may be in your car. It is great to have it run in top shape.
Finding a good local wreckers is always handy for parts too. Good Luck with yours!

Welcome to the forums, and to being a Park Ave owner!
Have you tried looking for parts for a 89' Electra, I am pretty sure in 89 it was listed as an Electra with Park Ave Ultra Trim.
You can find a lot of the parts new for your car here. GM Parts - Chevrolet parts, Cadillac Parts, GMC Parts and Buick parts powered by Nalley Buick GMC Brunswick | Nalley Buick GMC Brunswick
Go there, enter the year, then Buick, then Electra, then under Trim Level select PARK Ave Ultra Sedan 4DR
Then you can use the drop down list, or type parts in to search for them, when you find them you can also find diagrams of other parts, and you can buy them.
Is the part one of the parts in this attached pic?

Hey, #2 is the the side brushed alum trim I am looking for, thanks for all the replies, will check into it and/or keep an eye on my local u-pull inventory. I will post a pic next weekend, I get kind of busy during the week.

Sometimes not every part they have numbered is sold on the same page they are numbered on...
Hopefully you get lucky when you visit your local u-pull, new chrome trim is pretty pricey, I need two strips for under my headlights, and they want around 50.00-60.00 per side.
Just found another pic/part list of the trim, and it has most parts listed, let me know if it is shown in this pic that I attached.

Looks like #14 would be the trim strip, my car took a very light side swipe down the driver side, am looking for door trim (the brushed alum), but for now, 1 thing at a time, BTW I found repro cornering light assy'* on ebay for $20ea, but when they arrived, there was no hole for the light bulb, just got an RMA to exchange them, hope I get a good pair 'cause the rest of the assy was pretty decently made.
