Accessing the ECC for my 1997 LeSabre ??
In my serching for the prodedures for accessing the diagnostic mode for any codes set on my wife'* 1997 LeSabre, I've come accross a detailed discription for a 1995 -- here on this forum.
However, I'm sensing that the procedures are different for the '97.
The article I found suggested:
Pressing & holding the OFF and Temp Increase buttons on the ECC, until it enters the diagnostic mode..
I tried this, both with the ignition key off, as well as it being in the on position [without the engine running], with no results.
With the above in mind, the probability appears that the procedures -- even if they exist -- may be different for the '97s and later models ????
