Accessing the ECC for my 1997 LeSabre ??
 

In my serching for the prodedures for accessing the diagnostic mode for any codes set on my wife's 1997 LeSabre, I've come accross a detailed discription for a 1995 -- here on this forum.

However, I'm sensing that the procedures are different for the '97.

The article I found suggested:

Pressing & holding the OFF and Temp Increase buttons on the ECC, until it enters the diagnostic mode..

I tried this, both with the ignition key off, as well as it being in the on position [without the engine running], with no results.

With the above in mind, the probability appears that the procedures -- even if they exist -- may be different for the '97s and later models ????
