my friends car...i haven't looked at it yet..but she says it blows cold air on the passanger side..but nothing on the drivers side...it does have the digital climate controls....is there anything common or special to look for with these units...something basic to look for?

It gets no air at all from the driver'* side, or just no cold air? Dual climate control? The temp and vent actuators have been known to be a problem, and one post said the dealer told him the system defaults to that on a low freon condition. So, there are a couple of possibilities.

jsut not cold on the drivers side...i'll check the refridgerant and system while i'm there..won't be till friday....

I hope that'* all that it is, as some (most, all? ) of those actuators are not easy to reach.

I have this issue on a 2000 Regal. Looking for the solution. How did the freon charge check come out?
