Default '97 Century engine swap snafu

I have a '97 Buick Century with the 3.1 liter V6 I got from a co worker for free knowing that the engine had water in the oil and is junk. I figured I would find one on Craig'* list for a couple hundred buck and sell the car for a grand...easy peasy. Turns out the all seem to have the same failure. Well I finally found one but it is a couple years newer and now that it'* in, I found a minor difference. the plug for the EFI system is different GRRRR!. The original engine has two separate plugs (a white 5 pin plug and a black 10 pin plug. The "new" engine (from an '01 Century) has a single 15 pin plug. It seems like I ought to be able to splice the original plug onto the "new" engine if I knew the pin outs for each plug. If someone here has access to that info that would be awesome. Thanks in advanced for any help
