ok cool thanks for feedback if the fpr was failing wouldnt it have gas flowing threw it. that happend on my tahoe. smelled gas all the time and i finally noticed that when i started it gas was just shooting out of the little hose why would the pcm just fail. and why would it be intermittent issues. car runs great all day only issue is hot not start condition which is not all the time the overdrive and cruise control. but thanks takeing to shop will get the low down soon enough just speculation at this point

When the car is cold, if the f/p reg is leaking, it doesn't matter because the car runs rich on a cold engine....a warm engine is another ball game.....it wants to run lean not rich......so a leaking f/p reg on a hot engine will cause a stall or hard start....it'* funny,,,,,sometimes they leak bad, sometimes it'* intermittent...

Well is there a way to test or sighs of this or is it like trial and error. I know that it'* fairly simple whatever it is but I'm dumping money and not getting results. Is it common to replace a fpr. granted care is 20 years old with 190000 miles how do you check brake lock??
