Hi guys, I went to change the leaking return line on my transmission on my 2004 buick lesabre and the new fitting was completely different. I bought the dorman version of what is supposed to be 04+ models with 9/16-18 thread. The threads sorta looked a bit bigger than the old one and wouldn't thread on.


Any ideas? None of the suggested parts on rockauto are long like the one in my transmission.

Can you point out the Item # of your fitting

It is 6.
I am also interested to know the c clip number 5!

Why did you change the fitting? Did it leak after replacing the line?

It was already leaking by the inside oring.
