Default 3800 Weird and bad engine sound (video)

Today i regonized.

Comes on Idle, Park if you turn steering top right or left or D at idle randomly or turning wheel same time its most bad.

So when engine is idle = low rpm and under "load" for same time, noise comes.

If you rev engine etc nothing abnormal.

I have been main bearing problem in olds 307 and piston slap but different sound.

Idle on D position

Idle on D position, steering wheel turning at same time

Please help! Video is robust but voice is very realistic.

And im pretty sure that noise is coming to passenger side or center, not drivers side.

Remove your serpentine belt and see if the sound stays.

i agree, sounds like one of the spinning parts like tensioner. if the noise goes away with the belt off try spinning things to see iff any feel hard to move or loose/wobbley

It sounds like a failed harmonic balancer. The rubber decays over time and they make that exact noise, mainly at idle.
