Default 2013 wont crank over

Hi,
I disconnected the spark module so I could replace a coolant water outlet just below it. I put everything back together and I tried to start the engine and it just cranked over and then the battery died because I have the trunk open all day and the light on.
So I connected the spark module and jump the battery, when I went to crank it turned a little and stopped hard.
It seems like the timing got messed up.
Did cranking the engine with the spark control disconnected do something? If I turn the key starts to crank but then immediately stops hard, sounds like its stuck or timing is off?

I assume this is a Buick of some sort with some sort of engine. I'm not sure you have a good battery in what ever it is.

2013 Buick Encore 4-cylinder according to your profile, is this correct?
