2013 LaCrosse A/C didn't come on
I'd sure like to see a wiring schematic for your car. Does it have a diode or pigtail connector issue to A/C?
You could try to momentarily bring power directly to the AC connectors & see if the AC then kick on.
That would then lead to knowing if it is an electrical connection issue or possibly low refrigerant issue, where you need to read the high low values.

@CathedralCub—You could be right. I'm also thinking it might be a bad relay or something like that. The fact that it was working fine and then suddenly stopped working makes me think the refrigerant level is okay, that something is actually preventing the system from activating. This car is too technologically sophisticated for its own good. I shudder to think how many miles of wiring it contains. Regardless, it will probably be tomorrow at the earliest before I can get it looked at. Ironically, I'm stuck at home today, waiting on an HVAC tech to come and look at my home air conditioner. I had to have it replaced earlier this week and it now has stopped working. I've just got some bad A/C mojo goin' on at the moment.

Well, it turned out to be a worst case scenario. The compressor is toast! So on top of what I've already spent this week on my home HVAC system, I get to shell out to have the one in the car replaced. I hope the rest of the car is more durable than the A/C. A friend of mine just reminded me that bad luck tends to come in threes. I'm counting the furnace and the air conditioner at the house as two separate things so the car makes the third!

So I just got the car back from the shop. It'* blowing cold air now like it never did before. It wasn't cheap by any means, although I did find a $100 off coupon online, which took away a tiny bit of the sting. I'm just thankful for the 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty on the new A/C.

Literally!
What did they replace?

I think they pretty well replaced everything except the evaporator. The invoice showed a compressor, compressor kit (I assume that'* an assortment of connectors, O rings, etc.), dryer and expansion valve. And of course, there was flushing the system and refilling the refrigerant.
