Default 2009 Enclave 3.6L Cylinder head by firewall looks like its not getting oil.

Doing a timing chain kit. Took valve covers off and the head by the firewall looks dry same as the valve cover. Any suggestions on where to start? Anyone know where to oil orifice is in the head that i can maybe blow out with air? Should i take the pan and oil pick up off and blow out the whole system or will i do more damage that way?

If it was not getting oil, it would not have lasted long enough to need timing chains.

Why you doing this? What happened? Do you test at all? Compression test?
