2006 Lucerne: parking assist sensor replacement?
2006 Buick Lucerne CXL with rear parking assist in bumper shroud/cover.
Right corner took mild parking hit, enough to pop out the sensor and leave it dangling by wire inside of the valance/cover. I can reach it and pull it close, but not go any further without access. How do you reach the sensor for replacement or attachment? Seems like it'* inside the inner metal bumper underneath the plastic cover. That plastic cover is huge, and goes up to the tail lights- does it have to be partially removed to gain access to the corner sensor? How is the cover attached, and is it a pain to deal with?
