Default 1999 Buick Park Avenue Base

The dash display shows several question marks under the battery check. Both the battery and the alternator check out as good. What does the question mark mean?

I don't know the number. The two good mechanics and the two good shops both said the numbers are good.

Gotcha.

The next thing I would do is get out a volt meter and record the voltage measurement at the battery posts while the engine is idling and warmed up. First I'd record the reading with no accessories turned on and then I'd record with all lights, high beams, full blower, air conditioning, seat warmers, ate. all turned on. With these measurements, I could then determine a course of action.
