So lets try to get you some help.
I understand you have a P1811 code. You have a 2005 Buick Rendevous is it a FWD or AWD vehicle? 4 or 6 speed auto transmission ?

On a Rendevous it is a 4T6x , and you have to pull the transmission to get to the internals.
