Does the GXP use the 4T65E transmission that causes so many problems for us SSEi owners? Just curious.

No the GXP is an 8 cylinder car, it uses the electronically controlled 4T80E

SOL that'* a gear in your tranny moving into contact with the parking brake pin in the transmission. I always put my parking brake on before i release the brake pedal, to keep wear down, and to keep the torque lock minimized on hills, so i can shift from park.
