Default Radio display

I noticed that half of the radio display is out. Has anyone else had this happen? Just wondering about the cost involved. I assume that I ned new radio. Looks like the extended warranty would have been a good idea.

I have a 2005 GXP.The same thing happened several months ago. Was it onthe left side of the display?
I got so pissed off that I banged the display real hard with my finger and to my
surprise the display came back on! I was lucky. It must have been a bad connection or a
problem with the LED . But this radio has been around since at least 2000 {when the
Bonny was redesigned} if not longer. And I have never heard of anyone having a problem. Maybe just on newer models.Anyone else??????????????????

Mine is out on the right side. It works just enough to see the clock. I will look for the thread.
