If I had the time money tools and experience, and the time......I think that would be a project that i would under take. Except it would be RWD because of drive train availabilty and useability.

I'm not sure swapping an L67 for a Northstar is a move in the performance direction. So far, the GXP'* haven't lived up to the expectations we had, and the L67 is very easily modded.

This would be a very intresting mod. But what would you do with the boost gage? LOL
Hell, toss a 572 Chev in there, and do a RWD conversion, then take her to the track!
