Eww. May want to clean that up and then check your PCV valve. Your sucking up some oil.

Wow that TB is looking nasty. The Northstar likes to burn a little oil. Looks like in your case....not enough WOT'*. I have had a sticky pedal forever. Very intermittent yet still happens at lower RPM'*. If you figure the why, I'd like to know. The LD8 does not have a PCV valve so quit looking. hehe.

i know the truck enignes that dont have pcv have a fixed orifice. there has to be something to vent the pressure. if you think about it your just asking for trouble with a clog in that.

It has an orifice similar to the truck ones your talking. And with the oil consumed by some I imagine we will be seeing clogged ones. Makes you wonder if thats the problem we are seeing here. That'* some nasty oil backage in the above photo.
