Cheers,
Good Point Foghorn!

After that kind of impact crash, she could still start to experience impact related symptoms for a couple days after the crash. These often include severe muscle strains and bruising.

At least she is up and about, so that it a good thing!

This weekend has been almost overwhelming for BC. Three T-bones, one vandalism, and the worst news has to be 94SSEGolds Uncle -our cars are replaceable -even with a limited production of say 500, there are excellent chances of finding an exact duplicate of your limited production car (so to say) rather another Uncle, brother, Aunt, Sister, son, daughter, Mother of Father, etc....
Very happy to hear your wife is shaken up at worst. Hopefully any whiplash she may experience is short and temporary.
Also good luck on the next vehicle ....I wouldn't mind a ride in the SRT-8 GC if you don't mind making a quick trip to MN since I know it'* capable of it.

Not sure I would get another GXP if mine were totalled.

Ok first of all thank goodness your wife is ok! I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate mishap. Here'* what I'm thinkin......Big a$$ F-150 comes barrelling into the side of the car at 45 mph with no skid marks, car is pushed some 20 feet and the side air bags don't deploy? What'* wrong with this picture? What if your wife required that extra protection during the collision? I'd find out why they didn't deploy. Are they not designed to protect the occupant from side impacts such as this? I would want the extra protection just in case. Where are the sensors located for this type of collision? Again the main thing here is your wife is ok but imo those air bags should have deployed for the extra protection!

the way i look at it....the airbags KNOW when to deploy and when not to....they are designed to have specific inputs, if they are not met they dont fire
