The disabling of the DRL worked fine with or without jumper wire.Maybe the jumper wire isnt needed on a GXP.All I meant was I wanted to just use my foglights for the DRL but when you turn the foglights on the parking lamps on the front and the tailights come on and I didnt like that. With my Grand Prix I have smoked headlight lenses and tailights and I just use the foglghts for the DRL since I like the look of the blacked out headlights in the daytime but I think I might have wired these as per instructions on a web site but I dont believe this same wiring would work on a Bonneville. There probably is a way to do this though.Anybody know how to unhook the other lights from your foglight switch?

It must depend on the what your car uses for DRLs. My GXP uses my LOW beams for DRLs and since I just installed my HID kit I didnt want them running all the time so I removed the fuse and.............. relay...your welcome btw.
Anyway seems some older Bonnevilles use the high beams as the DRLs. Maybe its in those cases you need that jumper...

FOR THE GXP ONLY: All you have to do is pull fuse 30. During the day my lights are completely and totally off. I can use the fog light switch as normal and the headlight swtich as normal. The sentinel system will still turn the lights on at night, BUT if you have pulled fuse 30 you can turn the headlight switch to half stop (parking lights) and your headlights will go off (I am DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDING DRIVING AT NIGHT WITHOUT LIGHTS ON).
FOR ALL OTHER 00-05 BONNEVILLES: see another post.
