was thinking about about mid 90,* impala ss , they only made them for 2 years just like our gxp, not sure how many of the impala ss they made but a low milelage one goes for pretty decent money , i usaully see them for $18.000 to $25.000 what do you guys think?

I was just told mine was worth 12,000, 2005 with 37000 miles, I told them yeah right. Wanted a new g8gt but so much for that. Wish it was worth more but no such luck. I am not giving it away. Time will tell.

Yea i was suprised to see them used for so cheap... And this is no striped down vehicle either, it'* loaded to the gills. I read somewhere on the net this morning that this car has about 70 buttons on the dash.. lol Either way I'm def going to be picking up a black or silver one within the next 2 months!! I just started doing my research on this earlier this week.. my mom has a SSE 1999 Bonneville (leather, sun/moonroof, 3800 non turbo, factory body kit. and dual exaust.... Love that car too

I traded in my wife'* 2002 SSEi with 113K on the clock this past Monday for a 2004 GXP with 19,600 miles on it. Got the 2004 for $12K total, plus her car.

Wow that is a hell of a deal with those low miles..... Im looking at a 12k with 56k!!!! But they are so rare around here that i have NEVER seen one in person (GXP that is) since they made them the 2 years that they did...... But i got my eyes peeled for one with low miles!!

Price is in the eye of the beholder. Realistically, Kelly'* BB gives you a Market price and that'* the average of what they are selling for across the board. "True Value" . Collectability of these modern cars will never reach the status of 63 split window coupes or the Camaro RS/SS combo'* you see fetch ridiculous prices at those televised auctions. The production numbers are much higher these days, and a market segment awakening that didnt exist back in the 60'*. People back then drive em into the ground and let em go to the wrecking yards. The amount of Bonneville CLubs and Forums (And many other Brands shows how interest/trends change. People are now talking care of modern "classics" so the rarity will never be the same. I like my GXP, but in 20-30 years, I dont see it become a "collectors item" And there are a whole lot more Impala SS'* around than GXP'*. I see them very often around here. Jeeeez, my Pastor has one. LOL
