Look guys, the bottom line on the GXP is this. GM is insulting loyal Pontiac buyers and any other buyers with common sense. You just can't throw on one inch bigger tires w/o rims, a V8 only at 275hp and some suede and claim a major change over in order to hike the price 4 to 8 thousand. I have test driven it on the street and on a GM sponsored course. It is a nice ride, but it needs to be priced the same as the SSEi. Otherwise, Chrysler and even other companies like Infiniti/Nissan and Acura will win out. $38-$40 just can't be justified priced so close to entry level luxury cars that are more refined and that pack as much or more performance/space. I'm even talking some V6s. Right now, I would choose the 5 spd Chrysler Hemi or Infiniti M. Buick is even stepping their game up with the Lacrosse and Lucerne. The Lucerne as of right now would attract more buyers because of its direct approach to a specific audience. The Bonneville needs to be defined for a specific audience/class. Right now it is confused.

Right now it is a discontinued line... I think what you will find on this forum is that those people who own one love them! I wouldn't trade mine for a Chrysler or any foreign job in the same price range. The car I buy to replace this one??? It will have to be a Cadillac. If I get this new job I am thinkig that E55 AMG is in my future! But for now, I wouldn't trade my Bonne for anything else out there!!!
