remember XMS'* supercharger taylor??? that things been going on forever, they said all that was left is someone to crack the computer. WELL its been cracked so were is it!!!
how come everyone calls the 4.0 and 4.4 the shortstar?? the "shortstar" is the 3.5 dohc in intrigues and some aurora'*, its a northstar with 2 cylinders loped off
im surprised everywere i look noone seems to have brought this up.
The gxp'* motor is the 275hp, 300tq cadillac motor, the one used in SLS'*, ESC'* and DHS'*. in cadillacs they all come with 3.11 gears vs STS'* (and the others) 3.71. even though the SLS has worse gears, it still tears off the line faster than a STS.
gxp has the sls'* torquey engine, and the 3.71'*, there shouldn't be any complaints about off the line torque! add the standard intake and exhaust and the top end should about equal a STS too, so GTP torque with STS topend........

I find the TQ in my Aurora is so so...but thats another story...
