Default XM and headunits and Bose...

quick (and probably dumb) question out to all... I have 2000 SSEi with Bose system - any chance that a 2002+ XM-capable unit would work? Is there anything special in my headunit with Bose, or is that in the amplifier section elsewhere...

also, I don't think Bose was offered in 2002+ .. true?

thanks in advance

Any XM aftermarket adapter unit should work.

If your talking about a whole new head unit, then that shouldnt be a problem either. (Just got to pay for the service to receive XM)

there is extra wiring and the antenna in the cars that have the XM i think that you would need the xm reciever and the antenna

the amp for the bose in the bonne for the 2000+ is between the trunk and the back seat

yes bose was in some 2000+
