The component speakers crossover'* are different!!! You really need to know al of this stuff before you put in a system. You use the amp crossover going into them to cut off the bass you have going to the subwoofers. The component speakers crossover is just to divide up the frequencies between the tweeter, and seperate woofer. Want me to make a nice diagram of a typical system?
