There used to be an amp where you said that circuit board is. Maybe someone took out all but the crossover portion of the amp, so your gain slider doesn't work anymore? Why someone would do that, I don't know.

Maybe because that Monsoon puts out so much power, that the amp was way overpowering the speakers? Even the Bose speakers are having a hard time. :?
