anyone have a stereo wiring diagram for a 98 ssei im changing my stock deck and i tried hooking up the wires myself and failed

Why not just get a wiring adapter? Just a suggestion...sorry no diagram from me....

i did get a wiring adapter but i matched the colour coded wires and it doesnt work i tried plugging it into a firebird and it works fine and my stock deck works fine so something is wrong. the reason im not getting it done professionally is because i bought a tv deck from audiosavings.com and got it installed for 200$ and it didnt work so i sent it back at the cost of 100$ and when it arrived the second time it again didnt work. i sent it back for refund and im trying to save a couple bucks installing another deck myself.

well even if you take it to circuit city or bb it shouldnt be that much...but are you sure you have the right wiring harness? I had the same problem with my monte carlo I got the harness but it didnt work right tried hardwiring it without much luck so just went and got another harness and it worked....again sorry for no diagrams lol

i assumed that if it fit it would work ill definately try a new harness thanx

Guys your missing the correct install procedure

you MUST power the amp to get sound out of the speakers

do a search for BIllboost37 and his install
