will a aftermarket head unit work with my factory changer? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

I'd check with Best Buy or or Curcuit City. I am betting there is some sort of device that adapts the wiring harnesses without cutting/splicing. Also, be sure that the deck has changer controls.

P.*. -If you end up not using the changer due to non-compatability with the deck let me know as I want to hook a factory changer up in my SSE.
Good luck with this.
