bought my amp and subs off of ebay got a really good deal on both of them and they look and work great

Crutchfield! ALL THE WAY! love their selection, I have speakers and stuff from them, i plan on getting an HU soon.

If you have the extra money, go with Crutchfield because their customer service is amazing.

If you don't have the extra money, check out sites such as ikesound.com, Sonic Electronix, and of course, eBay. If you go the eBay route, try to buy new from a trusted seller. I've never had any problems with buying audio equipment off of eBay.

GOOD ONE! Forgot to mention that...I will definitely second that! Their customer service RULES! One of the speakers I got was DOA, so they paid the return postage for the bad one and got me a new one OVERNIGHT MAIL! free

also remember that with a site like crutchfield, if you buy a HU new from them they will include the HU install kit, antenna adaptor and the adaptor to go to your vehicles wire harness. Plus instructions. If you were to buy those 3 things from best buy it would be another 40-45 bucks. Which may be less than the difference in HU price.

Also note that their phone support hours end at like 11 at night for those of us like me who start projects after dark.
