What to wire my Radar detector to? - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Some of the 98-99'* didn't have the wires for the roof if it wasn't there.. It was strange to figure that one out...

But do check and see if the wires are there..

I found the white tab your talking about but how do I get them out? Do I have to do something to middle gently?

I have mine hardwired into my radio circuit, however it'* mounted at the bottom of the windshield. I really like it compared to the cig lighter idea in two aspects: Can't forget to turn it on... and you can't see ANY wires, except a 1" piece that disappears into the vent piece on the dashboard.

I don't have the Radar detector... But when I installed my Auto Dim Mirror, I tapped into the Circuit that I was lucky enough to have for the sunroof that didn't exist... So I also added an extra set of connectors in case I decide to get a radar detector
