Default What is this?

I will be installing subwoofers rear deck mount (IB) in my 2004 Lesabre limited. I found this curious looking device mounted on the under side of the deck that looks to me like a G-load sensor. Possibly to trigger an airbag? In wich case mounting subs next to it probably not a great idea. Any ideas what it is?

Maybe OnStar GPS antenna? Hard to tell.

If you could get a better picture of the label, I might be able to tell.

Does the car have stability control? That is where the Yaw sensor is on the Bonnevilles of that era, which would explain why it looks like a G Load sensor.

Actually guys, I'm pretty sure that is the compass. It could also include GPS, but the onstar module is on the back of the seat next to the Monsoon amp if you have one. Try placing a magnet on and/or around it and see what happens. You'll be driving in circles, literally!
