You know, I took my tweeters out when I put in my 5.25" 3 ways, and I can't tell the difference. They do sorta look neat, though.

Just cut them to your aftermarket ones. No need to go to any specific size that doesn't fit them.

Your tweeters may be able to be flush mounted, as in just poke a hole for the speaker wire, and glue them, or screw them on the outside of the panel.
