Default system spl

hey guys i am running my 95 bonne sse with a sealed box, in the box is a pair of rockford T1 15 inch dvc 2ohms, i have one rockford p6001 mono amp for each sub, i have my factory speakers in the rear deck still... should i take em out? and i was wondering what people were thinking i would get on spl, i moved the box more towards the bumper this week and that definetly found some new rattles in her, should i turn the subs around so they are facing the engine? thanks

Default no do not turn the box around

no you do not face the subs towards the engine unless you have the box in a open cab like a minivan or a navigator or something like that. to remove the rattle you could eithe do 1 of 2 things. both done will work even better.
1- release as much air as possible from the turnk into the car by cutting out airholes in the back deck and the back armrest as well totaling three new airports coming from the trunk into the car. each about 4'' to 6'' wide. the bigger the more bass and less rattle.

2- buy 50 square feet of fatmat and that will be more then enough to sound deaden you trunk and stop the nasty vibration as well.

both will work very effectivly if done together. and you will have clearer ,deeper, louder bass for blocks.. trust me as i did the same

alright, once money allows, i will buy some fatmat or something of the same, the rear deck ports seem popular and might remove the rear 6x9s or something of the sort. thanks

second skin audio makes some great sound deadening products. They have been tested and proven as one of the best. You should do the whole car
