Default Sub wiring question...

okay I have a Crunch amp. Here are the stats
http://www.cardomain.com/sku/CRUP2250
2 channel
4 ohm load- 250Wx2
2 ohm load- 500Wx2
Mono bridged into 4 ohm- 1000Wx1

I just purchased this sub: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4079.html

as you can see it has 8 wire hook ups on the sub.

I am not sure on how to hook it up and need some help.

microsoft paint diagrams would be fine. thank you

Hum... The amp is not the best for the sub you have. Connect the two voice coils of the driver in parallel (+ to +, - to -). This will give you a 3 ohm load. Turn down your amp so you don't clip it and burn it up. I don't think it will but hopefully it will not go into protection, it will prob. just pop a fuse if you overdrive it.

so use both channels of my amp hooked up normally to both voice coils

treat it as I if I had two subs and hook it up normally...

Did you already buy the amp of the sub? A DVC 6 ohm sub is really ment for a 3 driver setup.

Anyways here is a quickie

edit: sorry it isn't that big

I had the amp and just bought the sub. I bought the sub as a spur of the moment thing at a great price and couldn't pass it up.

hooked it up parellel, bridged and it pounds!
