I've already got a Belkin tunebase for my ipod, but I notice an improvement in sound quality when I go back to the RADIO! I need a direct input, and I don't want to have to buy a new head unit to get it(or modify my own as previously mentioned)!

It looks hard from the amount of stuff you have to rip apart, but it'* not really that technical.

Welcome back aCid,, just a question for ya, what are the chances that a few of us could gather up the material needed to do this mod, and have a sort of mini meet this summer, and you could supervise this retro fit, so to speak?
Is that possible? A few people have showed interest, but it'* not something I feel comfortable doing on my own, even though you have very good detailed write up.
Can you give it some thought?
Thanks.

I had one for a few months in my car until I got the Alpine. NEVER going back to a modulator. I only used the headphone output on my 5g Videopod, but it would've been better through the line level output through the dock connector.
