Do an internet search on SWI-X. How many times have I posted this now?

Mista, they work, but they're a PITA to set up.

Must have been operator error then Will

I installed one of the SWI-X units in my 96 a couple months ago, to go with the Kenwood KDC-2022 I put in (nothing real fancy, just wanted a CD player instead of a cassette)
Bought the Kenwood from crutchfield, so I got the install kit and harness adapters with it--spent about 20 minutes in the house soldering the kenwood harness to the factory adapter, then another 10 installing it in the dash. Read thru the SWI-X instructions a couple times, then spent another 10 minutes getting it configured, and stashing the emitter just under the edge of the center console latch (no drilling!)

The only thing you gotta remember is that in order to use the SWI-X, the new head unit has to have a wireless remote control, and there are some that it won't work with (some of the Sony models, and I think a few Pioneers, check www.go2pac.com to be sure)

Oh yeah, you can get the SWI-X from the store over at clubgp.com--they had the best price I was able to find.
