keeping steering wheel controls with aftermarket deck? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

you need a headunit with a remote....

after you have that, you can use your steering wheel controlls

The remote is necessary because you put the PAC SWI-x on your buttons, and it sends remote signals to the head unit. You have to teach the PAC SWI-x the remote signals.
