ya you will need to make mounts like CC for the 6.5'*, and they sound pretty good...the only thing that i would have done is to make a spacer so the speaker is closer to the actuall door panel

Im actually going to see if I can use a dremmel tool and do some cutting to the panel itself to make it fit. It would look better IMO. When I bought the car, Matt gave me a complete extra door panel. I'll use that to practice on.

the reason I did not attempt to modify the door pannel (which crossed my mind) is that I figured that with stock mounting it would not be able to handle the extra vibration/braking from the 6.5" aftermarket speaker.

I'll figure out something. I want my Polk Comps to balance the Rears. I'll make it work somehow...........
