pointless. Take the money you would spend on rear speakers and invest it in even better front speakers and/or a method to aim the front speakers towards the driver.

I have a three way set up for up front to make the best of what I got 4x6 in doors, Panasonic'*, already in and rock, 4 in in kick panel area, and 7/16 soft dome tweeters in dash, up near windshield, can install very easy, I was just making final adjustment as what to do. so input put is taking into consideration

Even with my 5.25 Pioneers in the front, the back takes them out. I wish I had larger ones in the front as it sounds really weird with a lot of the noise coming from the back.

I have 4x6 plates in the front and Pioneer'* 61/2 components in back with a passive crossover and 7/16 tweeters in back deck and they sound great I have the amp on them down very low and no filter from amp, let the crossovers do their job there,. Thje front is getting twice the power as the back 100, they are hooked to same amp, 100x4, but the gain on them is almost to half and the filter is high pass 400hz and up. And I have 2 hour'* plus of tweaking in this system I am very anal about wanting to hears and feel miusic, so I am working on all of this. If you read my past post I have been through 3 sets uf subs and wheels to, lol But I know what I want and like to get there.

aiming the front speakers towards your ears and away from your knees would make a world of difference in sound quality, beyond what you may enjoy already.

That is why I am going with the other set of 7/16 tweeters in the windshield area it will bounce off the glass and make a Theater kinda sound up high and the 4 in inth e kick panel to bring it together, I am going to try this with the 4x6 unplugged and plugged to see what makes better sound, I am tring the KISS idea, Keep it simple stupit, lol. Sometime less is more and sounds better

Click on the cardomain in my sig to see my set up if needed, do not have front tweeters done yet.
