Default Speaker question

2003 SLE - My driver side speaker(not tweeter) made a pop sound and now no sound comes out of the speaker, the tweeter still works. Think I just blew my speaker or did maybe the connector come off, I don't know. Sorry it is a stupid question I am not very knowledgable about audio equipment.

sounds to me like the speaker blew because the tweeter and woofer run off of the same wiring. Are we talking BOSE here, or Non-BOSE?

NON-Bose or I think it would be NON-Monsoon, only 6 speaker set-up not the 8 speaker

My guess is that you fried the voice coil in the speaker. If you can pop the grill off and get access from the front you can normally test to see if you actually blew the speaker.

the whole door panel has to come off to access the speaker on the 2000+ models. more than likely the speaker is blown and will need replacement
