Default speaker mounting problems...ugg!

I installed the head unit, i soldered in the wires to the aftermarket GM adapter harness dealy, hopely that will help. I got Infinity Kappas for front and back. They said they would be a direct drop in upgrade..... turns out only ONE fit correctly. The right front 4x6 screwed in just nicely, the left front wouldnt fit because of the IP and air ducting underneath prevented it from submerging all the way....so i cut/bent some metal off the dash board for a little more room it looks like i will have to use double sided tape on all sides to keep it steady, the top force from the dash is keeping it down tight as well.
The rears.....i couldnt even get two wholes to line up withought bending the sound box. Looks like ill have to take some sheet metal and make a custom mount.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?
