Default Sirius Install in a '95

Hi everyone,

I'm installing a Sirius into my '95 SE. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for install. I figured now would be a good time considering I have all the seats except the driver'* out of the car and the carpet pulled up due to water intrusion (an issue for another post).

I had planned on putting the satellite receiver on the roof above the rear window but was unsure about routing the wiring into the trunk. I'm worried about trying to get the wire under the seal around the rear window because it seems to be plastic not rubber like shown in the Sirius guides- I don't want water leakage problems (I have enough of that already).

I also planned on using the included FM Extender Cable. I was thinking of running it into the trunk and mounting it under the trunk lid, seeing as how the retractable antenna retracts into the trunk it hopefully should get decent reception.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I used to install at best buy, and satelite radio was kind of my thing. I would put it the antenna directly on the back of the trunk lid and run it to where ever you need it from there. Are you going to be powering it through the cig lighter adapter?
