Don't put it on the roof, It will scratch the paint,it did on my trunk. Get some 1/2" wide double sided trim tape and put it in the middle of the windshield at the very top. I've got mine in the middle of the back window just below the 3rd brake light.

Doh! I just learned that the hard way. I got a few scratches from just that dbeast so right now i've got it lying across the dash and got a strong signal (3 bars)
Can i ask you how you ran your antenna wire? Did you go around the windshield?
Thanks
Deb

I pulled the back seat and ran it under the edge of the carpet to the trunk. Here'* a pic of the antenna from the rear.

Nice install... good tips.

Did you come out under the trunk seal or over?

So how is it that SIRIUS is racking up debt? I am interested in this.

XM VS SIRIUS -
I have had both. I like it for the music, heck with the talk.
THO, XM has a better 80'* station than Sirius. Sirius 80'* plays madonna for about 1/2 the songs. (wretch)

BUYING A UNIT -
DO NOT buy one off an e-bay auction, cause it is actually a lot cheaper to buy them at the store. We are talking $30 to $40 at the store, and about $10 more (save for shipping) off e-bay.

Sounds Like AM? -
A few of the stations on Sirius are actually broadcast from FM/AM stations in whatever parts of the nation.

USE IN CAR -
Better to buy the non-hard wire units, in case you need or want to use it other than the car. I use mine at work and in the car.

SIRIUS STATIONS STABILITY -
Sirius tends to change the stations format more often than Clear Channel ruins their FM stations. (I detest Clear Channel)

My Music - I like Sirius New Wave 22, classic vinyl 16, The pulse 9 , Shuffle 12, and Raw Dog 146?.

Please start a thread in the lounge if you would like to have a discussion about Sirius and their financial situations.

This thread should only be posted in if you have sometthing to add regarding the original posters topic. We frown upon flaming wars.
