Welcome to the forum Will.

Are you trying to get the wires through the rubber conduit between the door and body of the car?

not sure what rubber part you are talking about. normally you just take some bigger wire stick it through from the car side and tape the speaker wire to it and pull it through

Can you get a picture of the bolt/rubber part you are talking about?

I was going to suggest attaching the new speaker wire to the old wire and then pull it through the door and into the car chassis.

says I can't post pictures but I got it. took me in a friend an hour and a half to figure it out. there'* a factory hole in the rubber behind the carpet. on the driver side its behind the hood latch, run your hand up right behind it until you feel the hole. same place on the passenger side.
