Default Request to have someone fix this for me.

I have a Alpine CDM-7835 HU and the bulb for the display burned out and with me not being too good with a soldering iron, and not having one, I was wondering if someone could fix it for me. I can send the faceplate and you can fix it for me. Anyone? I think it uses the same bulbs that our stock radios use.

It'* not bad at all. 2 Screws, pop teh back off and the board is right there. no problem. I think you would have to remove some solder to get the display cover off.

im definately down for giving it a shot, the biggest problem may be getting a hold of the proper bulb tho...

No problem, you can take a bulb from another part of the board, I don't mind, I just need to see the display.
