I can agree with both of you to a point, I if you didn't know, have a yellow top to run my system along with a 5 farad.



I still have stock delco regular battey under the seat and have done 2 out of the 3 extra groundings. all the cars factory groundings have been replaced, along with additional battery groundings on both and alt to frame.

I am still running the stock Alt. too, been so for just over a year now with my setup. Watch the Volt meter and almost always stays at 14.7. When I goto stereo shows after couple of hours of playing and messing around seen as low as 13.5. went and drove it around the block couple of times to charge it up before I went to the DB lanes and was back to 14.7 in about 10 minutes. no problems with my current setup, I do have Alternator rainy day fund set aside, but not planning on it any time soon.

Anyone know the stock Amps for +00 ssei'*?
