Variable Color Display: The display backlight illumination can be adjusted to any of the following colors: light blue, blue, white (has a bluish tint), green, yellow green, red, or purple.
MP3 Playback: This unit can play MP3 files recorded on CD-ROM, CD-R, and CD-RW discs in ISO9660 Level 1/Level 2, Joliet, and Romeo formats. Each disc should have a maximum of 150 folders and 300 files/folders. During MP3 playback, the unit displays any recorded ID3 Tag information.
Aux Lite Auxiliary Input: The CDX-F5705X has an auxiliary input on the rear panel, allowing you to connect a separate audio source, such as a portable MiniDisc or MP3 player, or the audio output from a mobile/portable DVD player. In the past, Sony receivers required a separate adapter, however, this unit'* "Aux Lite" input allows you to directly connect the auxiliary unit to the receiver'* stereo RCA input jacks.

I really like my Kenwood. I noticed that it loads mp3s quicker than my old DEH-7400MP Pioneer. The one I have now loads them like it was an audio cd. With the Pionner one, it took like 3 or 4 seconds. I guess it depends on how picky you are. The only thing I dont like about my Kenwood is that I either have to choose between having the clock show all the time or having the artist/track title displayed. I would have preferred to have both displayed at the same time.
If price is an issue you can get Pioneer... I love mine
I've had great luck with my Pioneer. If you're going to be using that Zeus it really does'nt matter what the HU power is as long as it as pre-amp outs. The Pioneer Premier series offer either 5v or 6v preamp out. (good clean power). I have to agree though, if you can afford it get Eclipse (16v pre-amp
)




There'* better, but it does MP3 and has red lights that match.
