Did you have a pic of the unit in your car to show the insurance? I don't know if that would help or not.

i have a picture of it, but they said that they would need to distinguish the model number from the radio, or else i could be lying about the price. Im not 100% sure if the cop wrote down it was a pioneer radio, If i have a recipt for a different one im sure i can find my way around it. Basically the main thing im looking for is a recipt from no more than a year ago, for over 500$....I figured that would cover the cose of the new radio plus any installation kits and such. I looked in the computer system at work yesterday, but i can only search by name, so thats gonna be tough, I'll do some more research tonight when i go in.

i just bought a 500$ panasonic dvd player, has anyone had a problem where the screen wont open if the car is in park?
