Default Radio buttons failure

Hey, guys. I have my radio buttons (stock radio) programmed to go to certain stations, but today it all went wrong. I hit button 5, and nothing happened. Then I tried to seek down, and nothing happened. I can't seek down, manually tune down, or choose my presets except for 1. I can only seek up, and this is extremely inconvenient.

However, the radio had just before then been working fine, and it abruptly quit. I believe the buttons came back to life, but I'm concerned. Then again, it is a 1994 stock radio on a 14C/~50F day. Will this recur, or at least has it happened to anyone else?

Thanks.

I'd think it has to do with the extreme cold

All right. I'll let you know if it happens again.

50*F is extreme cold ? anyways, it sounds like maybe one of the control cables to the faceplate came loose, or there'* a problem with a circuit board in the radio. See if it continues and next time it does it, see if hitting bumps in teh road makes it work again?
